I have tried many organic beauty lines yet nothing has compared to the affordability and effects of LaVigne Naturals. These vegan beauty products is free of harsh scents and chemicals while being environmentally friendly. I must admit that at first, I thought it was too good to be true. I tried it for months trying to come up with what I dislike about it but failed. Here is how it all went down..
To start, let’s talk about the product I use daily. The Clear Magic Spray contains Himalayan Crystal Salt (aids in neutralizing bacteria and free radicals) and Canadian Willow herb, which helps in calming inflammation. It is scent free and can either act as a toner or facial mist you can reapply through out the day. This organic facial spray is target for sensitive-combination skin and can promote the production of collagen and help treat damaged skin.
This has quickly become one of my favorite skincare products that works real well with my regular toner and Mario Badescue rosewater facial spray. It leaves my skin super soft and really does help calm any minor zits I may have. My only complaint is that the nozzle spray is a bit hard to control and I have to hold the bottle like a feet away from my face to make sure the spray is as fine as possible.
The next product I was able to try is the Detoxify and Nourishing Le Masque. It contains Sea Kelp, Green Tea, and French Green Clay for a clarifying and exfoliating effect. For extra hydration, the mask also has Jojoba and Argan Oils.
When you think about pamper time on a Sunday night, this mask is present. It is different for all the other clay masks I’ve used in the past in that it dries almost clear. It applies very smooth and does not tug on your face like other thick masks. The mask is super gentle yet feels so clarifying when washed off (almost like shedding second skin like a snake would). Yes, not the best simile ever. It does have a very herbal scent but nothing too intense or overpowering.
The last product but definitely not the least, is the silicone-free Tepezco BB Luminescence Crème. It contains Tepezcohuite-based crème and my all time favorite ingredient, Aloe Vera. It is meant to be very moisturizing and glowing while being suitable for all skin types. It can either be used as a base or mixed in with your regular foundation for added coverage and moisture.
In all honesty when I first got this product, I was a bit hesitant since I’m not that flexible when it comes to bases or foundations. I have stuck with my MUFE Mat Velvet+ for so long that using another felt so criminal. However, this BB crème mixed with the Mat Velvet + is something else in a very positive light. Not only does it add moisture and extra coverage, it also adds the most subtle glow to a very matte finish. I love using this during the weekends when I’m out in about or just whenever I need a bit more help in the glow department. The thought that it contains Aloe Vera relieves me of worrying about breaking out since my skin just loves this ingredient. It does have a very sweet scent that reminds me of almond oil, but like the mask, it is nothing to overpowering.
There's just something so fulfilling about using products that are natural, environmentally friendly, and kind to the wallet. Preach? If I were to suggest one to purchase from this group, I would definitely say to try the mask! I for one am already certain that I will repurchase it again for the sole fact that it is the best I have tried so far. Nevertheless, this brand exceeded my expectations. So much dedication and ingenuity. If you are looking for a great, organic beauty line that is affordable, I highly recommend LaVigne Naturals.
*Huge thanks to LeVigne Naturals for letting me try some of their products. However, like always, all my opinions are my own and reflects what how I truly feel about the products.
